most people fish about half the water depth in a lil deeper water- maybe 20 feet down with a lil shiny flasher about 2 feet up from a small single hook tipped with a pink maggot, that's one style of setup. Eena, Ness, 10 mile are best lakes around- 10 mile having the biggest.   :icefish:

when I went to Eena  and ness lake I used shrimp and had lots of hits it wasn't til I put a smaller hook and small shrimp that the hits turned to hook ups. I was in about 6 to 8 feet of water and just a little jig to trigger the hit. most of the fish were bright red but willing to put up a good battle. tight lines. see ya on the ice.

Ya there are a few lakes stocked with them around, stocking data reports will show all of the lakes-

can be useful for when hittin up new lakes or always wondered about what kind of fish are stocked in what lake. Can help to isolate lakes for finding the fish that are stocked such as the af3n triploid strains- where they do not spawn and just live a happy life of eating and growing big- the monsters we all search for that lurk under the ice somewhere..

Some great info guys and gals. :) i find using a snubber from my main line attached to flasher works good too as sometimes Kokanee bites can be finicky. Also multiple flasher means more Kokanee. So bring your friends!

Hey another quick tip to add- try cutting up a small clove garlic into corn curnel
Size chunks - a fella showed me this in 100mile and it's a bait that really pulls through when the bite is slow and other baits aren't working.
