Otter Lodge Question
« on: Dec 30, 2018, 02:19 AM »
Just ordered an Otter Lodge X Over, and after research I decided this was the shelter I wanted, but couldn't tell if when it is folded up for transport, if there was room for an auger, gear, and whatnot in the bottom of the sled, or will I be pulling an additional sled for my gear?

you should have a good amount of room in there. Otter has the nice deep sleds. might have a hard time fitting the auger in there so sometimes i would toss mine on top or mounted on the back of my snowmobile.

Update, got it, got it set up, and finally got it out on the ice.

Going from a folding lawn chair and no shelter to the Otter XT Lodge, wow this is awesome. PLENTY of room in the sled for all of my stuff and my auger. And the travel cover is great to keep the snow out that the sled kicks up.

Anyone thinking about one of these I have nothing bad to say thus far!
