Sweet. I get to pound some slush tomorrow-
Sterling, Ontario is a heck of a drive to the Gunflint Trail (50 miles from Thunder Bay). Lots of great fishing for you closer than that.
Yeh but as long as I am back for work on Monday night, just wait screw the job.Enjoy my friend have a good week,,,,,,
I'm 5 years or so away from retirement and I think about it almost every day. That place looks heavenly to me. Enjoy it Gunny! We've had 20 inches or so of snow dumped on my favorite Laker water here in the last 24 hours. That slush is gonna be hell!
Everything is ready. Outhouse is cleaned. Woodstove is humming.Snowdog is running well. 4 five gallon buckets of water from the lake for dishes, etc..Clear skies and -10 tonight.Slush is being vanquished to a bad memory.Life is GOOD! (and still praying for IceJohn - May God bless you!)
Great day today. Limited on lake trout. Snowdogged with my buddy to the BWCA and then trudged an hour to where we fished. Life is good.
I have to ask - why did you 'trudge' from the BWCA (whatever that is) to where you fished? Also, what are the 2 screen units in the last picture? I'm guessing the left unit is a type of sonar and the right unit is an underwater camera screen. Well done on the trout.
Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA). No motors allowed, I believe.
