Plowing on the ice?
« on: Oct 25, 2009, 08:26 PM »
I bought a UTV for this winter with a plow. I want to plow out onto the ice for ice fishing. Not sure how I should set the plow when I do this. For those of you that plow out onto the ice, do you let the blade run on the skids, or do you raise the skids and let the blade run directly on the ice?

Run on the skids. Cracks and such are pretty rough when ypu hit them.  Kinda like having your hockey stick catch in a sidewalk crack and poking you in the gut!!!! ;)2
