Tracks for my Grizzly
« on: Jan 08, 2016, 08:00 AM »
Need advice on getting new tracks for Grizzly 700 with PS. Only need tracks to go on the snowmobile trails in Northern Ontario. The conditions up there vary from deep snow to the occasional deep slush areas off the pack trails. I don't mind spending extra and saving a headache later. Dani

I've had the Camoplast 4S Tatou for 5 seasons.  Love them, no issues, no regrets!  08 Grizzly 700 no PS

X2, everything I've read about them is good.  I would have bought but my trailer is about 2 inches too narrow to get them through the back door.

I run Camoplast on mine that are loaded up with studs.  It is unstoppable in snow and on ice.  Without studs on bare ice tracks are useless...

mattracks have worked great for me I like the fact the bogies move with the ground instead of being rigid mounted like a snowmobile track

I have Tatou 4s on my Polaris, and they go on every year when snow comes. One of the guys here in our office has a set on his Grizzly. He just leaves his on yearlong. He doesn't ride much in the summer. Power steering is pretty much a must with these bad boys though. I didn't have PS until I just recently put in an aftermarket unit, and holy crap, what a difference!

I have the Prospector Pros on my Polaris and I don't have PS. Even when the machine isn't moving I can turn them pretty well.

My brother has the Prospector's on his Polaris 800 and they do turn easier than my Tatous, but the Tatous seem to float a little better in snow. Don't know why they don't look much different.

Slush ruined my day more than once with tracks on my Ranger. In snow it was unstoppable
