Pick me out a good place for next hardwater so I can make up for all the missed fishing I am having this spring. After baseball season is over in late June you will find on the river every weekend.

I always plot out locations in the summer on my gps, so I can return to them in the winter. I find it faster than drilling tons of holes. Its nice to have 10 or 15 spots plotted out and identified before you even head out on first ice, it saves tons of time. I couldn't survive without my gps.

Jack Frost made an appearance in the northern half of Minnesota this morning.
many temps in the 20's
a couple places got down to as low as 17

You betcha! I had to get the scrape my windshield this morning. My wife is freaking out because she didn't have her flowers covered. I told her it can frost clear up till memorial day here, but she wouldn't listen. She got a big ol told ya so!

I would have no idea why you guys would want to go ice fishing. The cold weather is for polar bears and you can't catch any fish while sitting on the ice.

I was trying to talk myself out of missing ice for a while and it only worked for about 1 1/2 seconds

I think I'm gonna go get a job digging post holes just so I can dream about drilling holes

Have a good trip Dog, I'm leaving for a three day camping trip this afternoon with the family. Hopefully I'll find some eye's and stripers. I feel sure if there's no fish there will be some screaming kid's to occupy my time

i miss my ice

getting a job this summer for some new ice toys

im seeing a vex or marcum flasher and a eskimo or jiffy power auger along with 2 new jigging rods and reels and 2 new tip-ups

im gonna be digging alot of post holes this summer... just getting my arm ready for the ice incase i dont get my gas auger. tree roots are hard to dig through $:-\$
