I am a rancher. I'm the 4th generation on our ranch. We were recognized by the governor in 1993 as a "Centenial Ranch." Not the most profitable of occupations, but very rewarding non the less.

Man, You're totally screwed! All your Sabs hate you cuz you have to do your job and the rest of the world hates you cuz gas prices suck! Basically, it sucks to be you. My condolences.....I don't hate you.... :woot:

I own a drafting service working from my home. We create shop drawings of industrial/commercial buildings for steel fabrication shops. I'm set up in a small town in Maine and work for steel fabricators all over the U.S. Biggest draw back - I have a view of a lake from office, but always behind schedule and no time to fish.  :( I make it out just enough to keep my sanity.

I was in computers for 11 years before I got laid off. I thought my world had come to an end... It couldn't have been farther from the truth. I looked for work for almost a year and then decided to get my captain's license 2 years ago. I now run charters from March till November I did over 100 trips last year. When I'm not on the water, I manage one of the best tackle shops in CT ;D Life is GOOD!!!!!
