..I've heard the common name "bull trout" in refernece to tiger trout, which is a hybris between the brown trout eggs and the brook trout milt...and I've heard the common name "Dolly Varden" given to Salvelinus confluentus, which btw is a char...I've also heard Pomoxis nigromaculatus called crappies, calicos, papermouths, tinmouths, strawberry bass, and sac a lait.
Thanks ebour! Awesome looking fish!~Guys- we have native Bull Trout (endangered) here in Montana, they look similar to a lake trout. I have heard of Tiger Trout, but we don't have them here. They look nothing like a Brown.
