Sea robins are definitley strange. They croak like some kind of screwed up frog too.

I have to say there are some odd fish. My dad caught a pickerel that had a deformed mouth. Only half would close the other half just hung open. I have also seen trout with all sorts of cuts in their fins.

Ok, all kidding aside... my weirdest fish is the Smallmouth Buffalo. The solid black eyes are freaky!!!

I've only landed 2, but have hooked others. They always bite when I'm using light tackle and small minnows for Crappie.

I've never caught a small one.

Ok heres a pike I caught last Saturday.

The wire is from a radio telemetry tag.

And here is what the tag and Radio telemetry device look like outside the fish.

I would have to of thrown that one back. Someone went through a lot of effort to surgically implant that device for research.
