Well, I'm kind of a geek or nerd I guess, although you wouldn't ever know by looking at me as I appear somewhat normal, BUT I am surrounded by some of the biggest geeks on the planet on a daily basis. I'm finishing up my Ph.D. in semiconductor physics, and will be done in May of this year, and I love to fish, especially on the ice, so IceGeek seemed like a natural screenname, plus everyone says I over-analyze everything, which is probably true.

i picked my name because there is a school here called archbishop walsh and my last name is walsh kinda corny but thats my story and im stickin to it

My biggest passion is duck hunting. "BellyupFeetdanglin" is a word we use to describe how they are coming into the decoys.

Ice is great, but ducks is where it's at for me!

I was looking to buy some new ice fishing boots and everyone was saying I should get Lacrosse "Ice Kings" so I took the name for my Ice Shanty log in. I actually didn't buy the boots, I ended up with a pair of "Mickey Mouse" boots. That name would of been a good one too. Tight Lines

born on that lake. a name my buddies and i left in all the lean-to's we visited in the adirondacks. we all were weaned on that lake and it kinda stuck.

I'm also a bird hunter and my favorite game bird is the american woodcock. One of its nicnames is the timberdoodle, it is also part of my springer's registered name. Nick's Timberdoodle Hoss, we just call him Hoss.

I fish for huge walleyes during last ice, March/April. I caught a 14.5 lb. in 1999 and a 12 lb. the following year. The 14.5 walleye won the In fisherman contest divison 5 area (all of the great lakes) contest for that year. Having both walleyes mounted 3 dimensional means I have 2r3d.....
