The Oneida lake site is awsome.
Kingperch and fillet and release are great guys.they know thst water. They won't give you her hotspot, but I'm sure to point you in the right direction you won't find two better guys on that site

How did you do?  Sorry, late to the party.  I was up at Lake George this weekend and have not been watching PA much since we lost (or never had) most safe ice in the SE.  Made one Oneida trip so far this year, only 2 keeper walleye between 3 of us.  Always find willing perch though, and some big ones to boot.  We have a wheeler but best bet usually is to head off of the North Shore at App's Landing bait shop.  Parking is at a premium there so gotta get up early (think 4am).  Most guys fish the ledge drops, but the walleye are pretty pelagic.  Next time up there will be fishing Lewis Point.  Always try to get there, but end up fishing north shore and/or shack shoal.

Sorry for getting in on this late. I used to go to Watertown NY to hunt ducks every fall and met a guy  that worked at the salmon hatchery.  He said he fishes Oneida all winter long and said to call a bait shop called Bartell Road bait and tackle for any info I might need. I haven't gotten up there yet but its on my wish list next year. Supposedly early in the season the panfish in the bay are plentiful and huge but expect crowds of people on the ice.

I'm pretty sure you are allowed to have boats on Lake Oneida. I would be surprised if you were not.
