I feel the same way the local pond by my house is just starting to get some around the edges.

I know some have ice but the rest of are feeling the pain, we should have some ponds icing up by now but we don't. It's going to be an exasperating year if we don't, I've seen it happen twice that the big lakes didn't harden up & it was hell, every decent pond was full of ice fishermen it was elbow room only. :'(

I feel the same. They were calling for daytime freezing temps and now they say 40's.

we've got about a 1 3/4", but it just snowed and we've had warm weather up until now.

i think the itch is getting the better of me, i slept outside in my shelter a couple nights ago.

The weather seems like it might finally cooperate.  Hopefully we be able to get out here in a week or so.

Temps PLUMMETED last night after a few very warm days in Colorado Springs and the snow machine kicked in   3-6" and unfortunately 40MPH winds rolling in as well   Regardless, temps will be staying low by day for days to come  RIGHT ON!

Fishing @ Antero Res. this weekend as report came in this morning there's 8" good ice
(lol, except for that doggone open water near middle by North Shore I'd like to avoid :nono:  )
