Friends of mine got out on LG again a few days ago.  Got another limit from the rowboat.  This is some of what they got.  North end is freezing up.  Not sure it will be safe.  I would give it more time myself, but I never was the early bird on LG.  Good luck and be safe guys.

Nothing wrong with YouTube channels. 1/2 of the time me and rowan have just as much fun filming as we do fishing. Have to keep it exciting for the kids. When the bite is snow we fly drones and ride Atv’s. I’ll throw one up for the haters lol. Still my favorite video.

Ahh it’s just a drone. If it’s over 100 feet you wouldn’t even notice it. Especially if you’re slaying too many fish to look up !

It was a cool vid I like seeing kids getting into it. Drones are ok their buzzing drowns out the buzzing in my head lol, and sonar and I would prolly play with one too. Keep up the good vids.

Unfortunately your completely wrong.  You can fly a drone in the  Adks even tho it’s a state park as long as you follow faa guidelines. It does has limitations like the high peaks and a couple nature sanctuary’s.  You can definitely fly in lg and schroon.

Yes most state parks you can’t fly drones.  In the adks you can. It’s an exception in certain areas. Kinda like how you can drive an atv on the lake even tho it’s within the state park. But you can’t bomb it up a high peaks trail.  At least get your facts straight before you hate.

What I found is the exceptions around motorized vehicles allows the drones so unless a lake has no motor policy your should be good is how I read it. Goes for all state parks. Only 3 places have regs in state legislature nyc Syracuse and orchard park Ralph Wilson stadium.
