Does anyone know the water temp for Lake George or a place to see it?

Not sure where it's at now but last Monday it was 46 degrees still then after the storm it dropped to 43 so if assume still around 40 or so

Weeks prior my finder was saying 42-44...so its been up and down...

Looking at the 15 day forecast, this might be the first year in a long time that lake George freezes in early January.

I was thinking the samething SSmokinnSS it will be nice to see good ice on the entire lake lots of spots I want to try this year that have been not been ice fished in 2 years

I'm ready to give the FL-18 a workout.  Love those days when it's 3 or 4 hours of non-stop lakers followed up by a stop at the grassbeds and half a pail of ADK gold on the way back in or vice versa

Its cute when an insecure angler feels the need to talk down someone elses catch.  Not all of us care about bass, Roland.  Speaking of...you probabaly have some helocopter lures dontcha boy!

That's soo many of the wrong thing though!  I really wanted lakers that day but oh well at least they we're bevahing like lakers.

Also some irony...ever since Ive grabbed a ticket for the train...the king has refused to freeze enough.

I've been jigging them all year out of the boat! I'm ready to get them on the hardwater now! It's way easier to jig on the ice because you don't deal with moving around.
