Great idea.  Stunts like that will get the park gates opened at at 8am and shut at 3:30pm
 when parks crew are done for the day.

Looks like 3 brave souls fishing Harris Bay as I type this. Also just drove past the house where everyone has been accessing Assembly Point the last few years, and it's plastered with Posted, No Trespassing and Keep Out signs. Looks like that access is gone!!!

wont see me chancing it for lake george perch. once those laker waters are walkable though you better believe ill be spudding around out there.

Id like to find out what that famous quote is Jeff but at the rate things are going tis going to be a while before we hit the king for lakers. Looks like the weathers going to throw a wrench in plan of oneida this weekend also.

One of the biggest lakers I ever saw came off a tip up set up for perch in 10 feet of water on lake George.

I believe it. It's crazy. They go wherever they want once that winter gets cold and here no longer is a thermocline. My biggest laker came from 18' of water in a grass bed on the edge of deep water.

I still can see ice on the web cams off million dollar beach and huddle bay.   It looks the same as yesterday but with some water on top.

South Basin ice is pretty much gone. Harris is still there(as of around 1:30) but is black. Didn't get to Huddle.
