Today I had a decent day on LG, I caught a mess of Perch, a Salmon and I even I caught some smelt. the Salmon was
1/2'' short of a keeper. Here are some pictures, I even go a picture of some Smelt under the ice.

I ventured out on that dangerous 7" ice too today. 1 salmon just short. Did a lot of experimenting and learned a bit and had lots of fun. Back at it tomorrow.

Woulda been nice to fish with you fellas, I get random days off. Terry your gonna have to set me up on the bite this year Lol. Especially some of them lg crappie. I also gotta try some of these plastics I hear Scott's making.

check the 911 dispatch calls 1 ice rescue Saturday where a man fell through a pressure ridge,nothing for Sunday or Monday

Anytime you want to go get hold of me. As far as those LG crappies..I've caught a grand total of 3 in all the years I've fished out there.

I'm very new to this soft bait thing but I've got to admit they work very well. Scott made me up these...just got them last night. He's also making them 2-tone but they're a lot more work he says.

He's also making other types and sizes but these are the ones I wanted.

I'll have to chat with him about iether purchasing or trading for some of them. Im interested in the red ones for sure. And darker colors. Looks like he's doing a good job with them though. I'll see what my schedule is for the next Month and find out what days I have available. Next is if there will ice to fish on lol.

I know it sounds excessive but he started telling me the prices of things and it adds up real fast. Really is more than just buying some plastic

How many do you need? I'll get them. Worked well today.

It was a googan fest today, I got "lake george'd" bad. At least I got what I wanted before they pushed in at the crack of 10 am!

I usually fish a couple hundred feet north of the Sagamore island and get onto the ice at Vets. Is it not safe now?

Hey guy I am the one making the soft bait yes it sound easy to do and not cheap I have one mold I paid over 150 for it it may seem cheap to do but its not I like doing it just because I couldn't buy the color I wanted I started off small now it's grown bigger then I planed love making it for guy and don't charge a lot for the soft bait
