Yea, Have fun with that!!! I like fishing too, but that ain't my idea of fun. If it wasn't for my son having hockey my day would consist of sitting by the stove, having a beer, eating homemade mac and cheese and binge watching Breaking Bad on Netflix!

Tomorrow is going to be a very dangerous day. -8 tonight with no wind is going to skim a lot of new areas that did not freeze on Friday so watch your step.  Im curious of how the south basin held up to that wind yesterday. If that's locked to diamond island it should have at least 4 inches by tomorrow with this cold.

Doing my rounds and so far, half dozen out. Like perch said, there are a lot of spots that just froze and will freeze tonight. Need to use EXTREME caution to whomever ventures out.

...yeah, I have friends that want to go. Is that a problem? I can't wait for the ice to melt if that's what you still want to hear...

Have fun and hope you don't find that open water your so wishing.
I'm sticking to solid ice all week :)

Looks like everything held up in the wind and there is a lot of new ice from last night. Everything from katskill to the souther basin now has ice. I drove up Lockhart mt. Road and every thing looked frozen as far north as I could see. Most of that was ide open yesterday.

There's small spots of open water scattered about. That's what I saw going up 9. Going down the west side of assembly point, the previously open spots were slushy and starting to freeze. But what I did see today is, most is frozen, but very unsafe. With little wind tonight, hopefully it makes some serious ice, especially before Tuesday. :)

Snow turning to rain could be just what we need to add an additional couple inches of white ice.... I'd take it!

There were a few guys out there today if your going there be real careful the ice there has frozen at 3 different times there I would imagine you could go from 6" to 2 or 3 pretty easily.
