Yeah, I was gonna lay into them a bit more about how bad of a mistake that could have been. Im pretty sure they got the hint. They seemed pretty embarrassed. There was a group of people going out snowshoeing that walked right by them, I'm sure they had said something to them as well. They told me they were calling one of there friends that they were up visiting to come help. The  vehicle was pretty nice. A hummer H3 with some really aggressive tires. Ship of fools is right. A little bit of speed would have helped. Must have been daddies truck, cause he definitely did not know how to drive it.

I want to thank whoever found my Milwaukee drill battery and a tube of bugs and put them on my truck last Saturday at Huddle Beach Road.

Does anyone know if you can still get in at Tee Island on the South/West part of the lake? I haven't fished it in a couple years, and always did good just out past the island, in 40'sh FOW +/-. any help? Thanks!
Give'm line, there is no way it’s getting out of this lake.

No, they don't plow it any more and too much open water around the docks.

This question may be answered but my initial search came up empty.

Are "permanent" ice shanties allowed on Lake George?  I've been up to the lake a couple times the last two years and I don't recall ever seeing any.  Perhaps I just did not notice them but based on the popular spots I was fishing out of, surely someone would have had a shanty there.  Thanks...

yeah permies are allowed, but very few put them up any more because they constantly get broken into or burned down.

Minimal parking, ice is good, slush under ice in spots.

Someone is having some fun with you.
It drops to 80' and beyond immediately. Definitely not pike water.

pilot knob is laker country.

I'd look for some big perch beds for pike.

Finally got an 18" Landlocked Salmon Sunday. Has anyone else pulled any through the ice this year? If so any with good size?
I'd rather be fishing

Too bad you weren't in the Chingacook Tournament!!   There were no salmon entered which should give you some insight on the state of the salmon fishery.

But having said that i have heard of several caught this year.
