With this cool fall temps it makes me start thinkin about ice fishing, I think I will go sit in the hard side shack later,good place to hide an take a nap with out the wife finding me( hehe).

Sitting mine last night in a t-shirt I started getting a little chilly. Almost had to fire up the heater.

yepper...had the family over for a bq this past weekend....me & the cousins ended up down at the man cave drinking beers around the shanty....funny we used to be all deer hunting ..last couple of years its all icefishing /beers/ the food we're gonna bring....new stuff...etc....

heck we're even sharing secrect spots....kinda....

Thinking about it??? I have been sitting in front of the AC with icefishin clothes on jiggin in my aquarium for the past few days. Whats really a bummer is all the fish in there now know all my jigs and are tight lipped. Guess time to buy more jigs or more new fish....

If I pull out the shanty and auger is probably when the Wifey will have me committed.

No, I havn't started thinking about ice fishing yet.

Are you sick? It's all I think about. I was even thinking about it last week while I waited to go into surgery for my shoulder, wondering if I will be recovered enough to go fishing or do I have to sell my auger and get a lighter one. It's all I think about in the last few years. Deer hunting has been put on the back burner. The only reason I hunt is to have meat for fishing.

thinking aboot it? I have been making jigs, jigging spoons, and other accessories since June. The last couple days since i got my new house i have been sitting in the shack with the LED system on and the vex going just to get my fix of that "humm"

With all this cool weather that we have had this week, I sure have. I watched a Ice Fishing DVD last night. I think that I need to get my auger blade off and have it sharpened. I also need to check the shack and make sure it is ready. I used the Ice Buster bobbers the last few weeks to keep in practice. And always thinking about getting a Vexilar.

I was looking for some bowhunting stuff this past w/e and came across some jigs tucked away in a tote. Broke out the auger and started it up, put tipups into a milk crate to organize, untangled coupla lines, checked my jigging rods, cleaned jet sled, did some other ice fishing puttering in my basement.

i took some gear out today, and put some new leader on my tip-ups. all set to go, all we need is some ice.
