Title: ice fishing in Hibbing Minnesota?

I was wondering how much ice was up by hibbing?

Are there any lakes producing?

I'm not too sure about hibbing, but the way it sounds, further south in and around park rapids they've got ice.  You should check the outdoor news in the back.  They've got a regional fishing report page near the classifieds.  I wouldn't count on four wheeler or better ice though.

hibbing is closer to me than duluth. Im from virginia and there is lots of ice around here. I caught 20 crappies in an hour today. The weather wasent so nice tho.

That's awesome.  We don't have anything down here yet (Winona), but i'm going home (Hutchinson) for christmas and i plan to be fishing by next tuesday. 

My advice to you, if you're pounding the crappies and they are of any size whatsoever, i wouldn't go anywhere. 

Just my thoughts, congrats on good ice and good fishin.

What lake were you fishing on?

Any size to the Crappies?

i was fishin on a little lake towards duluth but i can catch crappies like that on lots of lakes
