Ice at Winnipeg Beach?

Just wondering if anyone has been out on the ice around Winnipeg Beach or Sandy Hook. I'm hoping to get out this weekend and would like to get a sense of how thick the ice is....should I walk out or would the ice hold a Ski-doo....fishing is a given just gotta know how safe it is to bring out the toys.....

I have been out just north of Matlock and there is 12-15" in the areas I was drilling holes.

I was out fishing just out from 5th ave in Sandy Hook on Saturday. Pulled in 6 keeper Walleyes in about 2 hours. Ice was about 15" thick and had no problem getting on and off with the Ski-doo.
