My nephew is up from Indiana ice fishing Winnie.  You guys take good care of him and show him the fish.  Wish all good luck and be safe out there

Let us know how he does, the perch are supposed to be going pretty well.

From what I understand they're catching their fair share of perch.  He sent me a pic of a legal walleye (17 1/2) on a small ant I tied with a minnow.  I guess Friday night they caught a mix of perch, walleye, and several pike.  Tonight they're having a fish fry.   Small group of guys havin a good time together.  I'm not sure exactly where on Winnie they are, it's a big lake ya know LOL.  I'm just glad he can get out of the house and go on a trip like this and have a good time.  I'm getting with his wife and see if she'll go halves and see if we can't get him a Vex for Christmas.  He's using my FL-20 up there.  Just glad I could help him out.
