Zorinsky lake
« on: Jan 13, 2016, 03:01 PM »
I have fished this lake, open water, would like to fish it this weekend. Just wondering if anyone has fished it this season yet?

Keep it safe! JDL

Either the fishing is so good or no one has been out there. Going out this afternoon to check it out.

Lots of action.  Took my little girls there yesterday and fished there all morning today.  Only seen one person out there in the last two days.  Crappies are 6 and 7" and blues are 5 and 6", but lots of them

Great time for kids.  I don't know how to add pics

As you can see in the picture they were hitting everything.  That was a really small red head jig with a waxie that caught that crappie.  Most crappies were hitting the flickers with a power bait minnow.  Blues hit everything we threw at them.  Even a bigger sized cicada tipped with a power bait waxie.

Fun watching fish on a camera and it is even more fun watching my crappy presentation of my lures in the water.

It has been this way all year at Wildwood as well.  Did manage a 12.5" crappie out there.

This is my first weekend to venture out west. I can't wait.

I just fished this lake for the first time today.  We did so so with four small gills.  Way area of the lake seems to be the best?  Thanks for the help!
