Was at the Kearney Cabela's last week and saw that they had some Okuma Avenger AV 15a spinning reels on an end cap - half price at $20.
I have been looking for a reel for an empty rod so thought, what the heck?
The reel rang up for $15 at the counter, so I went back and got another one. Two reels for less than the price of one at regular price, had enough $$ left for some of that 'fancy' ice line......
There were probably 20 left last Thursday.
Never hope to lose a reel down the hole, but would feel alot better about a $15 reel than one of my Penns....
