Ice Fishing Harpers
« on: Jan 04, 2013, 11:09 AM »
I was at Browns Lake a week ago, had a good time fishing but the catching was slow. Around 10:00am we headed back to Missoula with an unsatisfied start to are fishing season. We stoped and fished Upsata for a few with no luck. As a final last shot for the day we stopped at the tiny little lake known as Harpers. Where we managed to land a half a dozen small trout and one fat 6.5 lb rainbow. I have been told that FWP plants some monsters right before the ice goes on, never paid much attention to such a small lake but im sure glad we stopped.

P.S. - I am new to Iceshanty was refered by a friend. Glad to be here.
