I haven't even ventured onto the lake in my back yard, which is only 75 acres total. Sometimes people just get a little anxious and make those mistakes, even though I don't agree with the reason, it is a tragedy still. Maybe lessons have been learned.

Drove by yesterday and there was a pretty good sized shanty town alrready. Also saw a couple dozen four wheelers and side by sides cruisin around.

Also looking for reports as far as catch. Me and millertime will be headed down Saturday all day! It will be my first time on that lake.

Fished it this afternoon, after fishing Cisco Lake in the AM. One 30 inch northern on Cisco and and a few perch at Gogebic. Plenty of ice (7-9 inches) with a large shanty town already up (and snowmobiles and ATV's everywhere on the North Bay in Bergland).  Folks are fishing shallow (5-7 feet) in Bergland Bay.
