I think they were doing search and rescue training so it’s probably a hole there

Me and my buddy Jake want to go out today. Anyone have an auger and finder we could borrow? I’ll leave something of equal value. Or if anyone wants to come with, free gas

Hopefully we don't get much rain next week.    Didn't get out last weekend.

I fished Hauser this afternoon, I didn't catch anything but there was a Russian guy there that put quite a few perch and bluegill on the ice while I was there. Ice was at least 8" I didn't measure as I saw no need when it is that thick.

If anyone is on cocolala and found some rods in a diy holder they fell of my sled I was pulling them out for my brother, and when I went back 5 -10 min later they were gone. There were 4 light to ultra light rods one is a pink lady ice buster and one has a new Mr crappie inline reel.
All have green tape and line weight written on them.
Hopefully they show up.

Hope you find them.   Did you post on Idaho ice fishing?

No luck. They were my brothers (he was meeting us) he walked around and talked to most people when he arrived. I walked my path twice and the whole shore line near the ramp and the lot no luck.

As for the lake ice was 11 plus.
Between my buddy and I we got 20 perch on the north end, fishing pretty much died of about the time of my other post I think around 2:00 I was a little distracted we then walked down the NW shore and popped several holes walking half the lake with no signals on the flashers we crossed over to the railroad side and checked a few more spots all in about 30ft with no further success.

Fished Granite Saturday. 7 hours put 12 bows on ice.  Fairly slow. Great day to get the kids out before all this rain.  Lots of trash on the ice we’re we set up.  Aggravating to see as more people move in and disrespect the landscape…

Fished upper twin today. Accessing from the shore is a no go you’ll have step on from the dock. Still a good 5” clear ice where I was the rest white and soft.  Not flags, just a lot more rain.

Most likely my last time out on the hardtop. Here’s to an even colder season next year!

Has anyone been to Spirit this week? Bronze Bay or Maiden Rock was wondering if I could get one more trip in. Was on Hauser Wednesday and there was 9" of ice.

What kind of catfish, channel or bullhead? Are you using tip ups or just jigging?

Blue Lake had 12-13” today. Top 2” was soft with the sun, but no standing water.  The issue in the coming days will be the access channel as it is softening up and may not hold for another week.  But the overnight temps might help this week to buy another weekend of decent safe ice.  So while the ice was good….the fishing wasn’t this afternoon.  Only had one bite and only one mark on the flasher

I was one of those guys, the ice is great top was frozen good there is over 10"
Fishing was really slow however, with the fish that bit were about a 7-8 inch average.

Just got back from a few hours on Blue Lake.  13.5” of solid ice.  No bites and only marked one fish on the flasher.  Snowing hard this afternoon with about 1/2” new on the ice.  Not sure what happened but the last two times out on Blue have been VERY slow.
