Checked a minnow trap today and there was ice on the canal so water is definitely cooling down.

There was skim ice on most of Lovell Lake this morning. Forecasted lows Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are 11, 6, 6 degrees.

I think I’m going to head to the black hills and look for a whitetail this weekend. But I’m almost wondering if I should cancel
And go fish somewhere instead 😂
