still a section of open water in the same spot tonight but the shore line was firm enough to stand on at the boat ramp guessing 2" 4' out. i didnt have my drill or auger

I was out 30 feet from the dock today. Drilled holes, found 4" of ice. About 2-3 clear. Didn't find any cracks or weak ice. But i didn't check the entire lake so stay safe
