Anyone ever ice fish the Quemahoning Reservoir, in Somerset County?

Tomg, I've never seen it in writing but I think I was told it's off limit for ice fishing. Somebody from that area will probably respond. I hope I'm wrong because I've always wanted to try it. Lou

 NO ICE FISHING ALLOWED in quemahoning. The fish commission does not allow ice fishing on any reservoir that is a source of drinking water for a community. Now that I have said that I wish they would change that policy for there is no difference, in my opinion, between ice fishing and boat fishing which is allowed at quemahoning!

But what about Gordon and koon lakes in Bedford county?  They use those for water supply for Cumberland Maryland and people Ice fish those.

Found out from the PFBC that Permission to fish or not fish is up to the owner of the reservoir, not the PFBC.  So I guess it deppends on who owns the reservoir.
