By now most of my favorite lakes are finally freezing up, so I found out that Eleven mile has been fully capped for about a little over a week now, with that being said I went to test the ice myself the day after Christmas. There was a solid 5 inches all across the lake, so we went out and walked to our spot and set up shop! We had all of our luck sitting in 15 feet, but fishing from 6-10 feet. All our fish were caught on 2 inch pink tube jigs, and the fish were very interested in the dead stick, but not so much a moving bait. Here is a link to the video I put together. Happy new year! 🎊🎈🎆
