Time to Venture

After the frigid cold last night,me and some buddies are gonna venture out and find us a new honey hole today,theres 5-6 of us thats gonna find us a new pod of fish,I'll post tonight,with some pics wether we get fish or not,Tunadew is in from "PURDUE"(Thats for you crappie66)for x-mas break,and hes wanting to get some fish,so Im gonna put em on a good hole and let em have a blast,I hope..lol,be safe out there today and hope ya get bunches of fish,

Fished a pond south of mooresville today with hoosierbassin, and had a great time catching some really nice gills in about 12 FOW.  The bite slowed at about 12:00, so I came home and watched the colts loose.  If they can't protect peyton any better than they did today, they are going to be right here in Indy like the rest of us watching the super bowl.

Glad to hear ya got some nice ones Brawler,tell that Hoosierbassin I said hey,me and Tunadew went on a venture today,and thats exacatally what it was,we ventured all morning with not a keeper,at 12:30 we found em,Tunadew got some super nice gills,and I think I gotta few myself ;).......heres a couple pics from today,be safe out there        Heres one of the Pigs Dewie gotHere I am with a couple of gillsLast but not least.........Heres the mess we got

THAT is a productive way to spend the day.
It's the perfect amount of 'gills for a fry.
MMmh... A 'gill fry in the winter is my favorite fish!

Man o Man did I venture alot this past 2 days, fished for saugeyes and walleye in Ohio Sunday with JigumUp, thats when he clunked his head, And today fished with my brother inlaw at a farm pond and caught some HUGE gills. He got one over 11 inches and I got one over 10" and took home 152 gills where the average size was 9 to 10 inches. He has the pic of the 11 incher on his computer but here is what I got on mine from the pics.
Also took 4 bass home this evening too.
All of this took place in just a little over 4 hours of fishing.

Them look like the ones outta Mccormicks Pond,them are some Hawgs Kid,been pounding some deeper water,with little success,I know theres a walleye with "Jimmy" right across his forehead,congrads on the Pigs,
