I was looking at the Weather Channels long range forecast for the months of Nov. and Dec., I sure hope they are way off.... It said that the pattern is for warmer than normal temp. for the northeast.

looks like they are off so far!! its been colder and its a lot earlier this year!

It would depend on how far north, lol.
But I normally don't get into it untill New Years.
We mostly spend our new years in the hamilton co mtns and I just about every year bring my gear with me, even if it's a hour on the ice, I'm doing it.

the canal was iced over this morning and when i got out of work at 330 it had some ice still left on it so the waters are cooled down just need some steady cold weather.....tight lines boys
