Helix 9 G3N CHIRP + MEGA - Ice Ducer?

Got a Humminbird Helix 9 G3N CHIRP MEGA SI+ over the summer, and had some good luck using it.  Hoping to use it this winter on the ice, but I'm not sure which ice transducer I'll need.  Can anyone help with a model number?  I think it's the XI 9 1521?

Thanks!  One of my co-workers has an XI 9 20 'ducer, and it looks like it'll work with the Helix 9 G3N MEGA unit, but won't have as good of performance as the XI 9 1521.  Does anyone know what performance I'd be missing out on?

I think you would be unable to use chirp.

How helpful is CHIRP for ice fishing?  I'm thinking it would mainly help with target separation, right?

I think it will give you 1/4" target separation, but I'm not positive.
