Was anyone on squantz last weekend if so what were ice conditions?

Just over 8”. Some areas along the edge just skimmed. Might be a little more difficult to see now with the snow but it was not hard finding a solid spot to get on the ice.

Fished it yesterday. 9” of ice with 1” of snow/ice crust on top.

Is anyone catching fish at Squantz this winter? It’s historically been very difficult to do so.

I've been getting some  smallies and yellows. This year it seems like the action is a bit better. Years past I would go hours without a bite and skunked numerous times. Since I have not been able to get to my spots on Candlewood I've not been disappointed on Mount Squantz. Although, it would be nice to hear of someone getting a nice Walleye.

I agree bry65 would be nice to get a eye or 2 we fished nf town park couple weeks ago skunked there! Hammered big smallies there on last ice of season last year! Excited for tonight will update!! Tight lines be safe

We are out tonight ,  slow so far.  Dink perch .  No eyes yet

11” measured we were near the beach area, shore was intact little water but solid!

Was there yesterday. Plenty of safe ice had finnicky Marks on the graph all day. Picked away at gills for most of the day

Took home two nice smallies,dropped one, threw one back plus a couple of yellows. Definitely some water around the edges. Also, hooked a very large catfish. All in all a decent day for Squantz.

Fished Squantz and across the road yesterday and today. No flags, only dink perch jigging. 6”+ ice and easy on/off.

Went to Squantz today. Seems like they might be pumping water into candlewood. Water level is rising. Went to Tom instead. Couple of chew n screws. Lasted about two hours, pretty windy.

Hit Squantz today. Took home 3 smallies 18,19 and 20” , threw 2 back and multiple chew n screws. Great day for probably my last ice fishing day.

Thanks Brad, every year Squantz has been slow for me. Since my spots on Candy were not fishable this ice season it was nice to have decent action on Squantz. I just happened upon a spot that was productive this year. Would be nice to have one more day this weekend.
