anyone ever ice fish big roche-a-cri?
« on: Dec 05, 2006, 01:35 PM »
I fished it a little bit  this past summer and I want to try ice fishing it, and was wondering if anyone on here does and where they suggest I start on there?

Thanks

years and years ago, when i lived around Rapids(late 70's ..early 80's) all the fish i released back then should be HUGE by now !!!...just remember..it is more of a flowage than a lake..there is ALOT of current thru there and ice thickness varies alot...be careful...and don't be surprised if you find a few trout on the end of your line...they are very expensive if you don't have a stamp though....let us know if you go..

the joy of fishing is greatly increased with the reward of catching.......(huh ?)
