Need Help

Hello from North Liberty-
This is my first winter in Southeast Iowa and I was wondering if anyone could tell me some good spots to go in this area.  I have limited ice fishing expirience, so any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
thank you-

My first pick would be lake Sugema! Monster blue gills, and alot of them. I've never ice fished it, but fished it a lot in the summer and get 10" gills all day long!  Lake wappelo is a good one which is right around thak area. Lake Mcbride, and any farm pond! But Lake Sugema is my favorite lake for any fish. They have walleye, saugeye, crappie, catfish, carp, drum, reports of tiger muskie being caught, and of course bass, BIG bass too!
I bet if you went there you'll have a blast!  It's a man made lake. The flooded about 500 acre of timber and fince rows. So there are trees and  fence posts sticking out of the water. Some places the trees are so thick you can hardly drive your boat through.  But if you're looking big gills or crappie, that is my # 1 spot!
good fishing
