Cook Lake near Sundance Access reopened
« on: Feb 20, 2015, 08:14 AM »
The access to Cook Lake was reopened recently, had been shut off due to landslide concerns.

Has anyone ever ice fished there, if so what can you expect to catch?  I've fished there a long time ago and only remember catching bluegill/sunfish.
Fishing is not about life or death, it is much more important than that! And all I have to say is FISH ON baby.

I haven't fished it in many years. I know they drained it awhile back to clean out all the sunfish in there though.

The cuff has hit the cook lake many times on the ice .Most recent was 2 winters ago .Caught numerous 8-12 inch trout that were all undernourished stick like sardines. I did catch a few decent bullhead out of there and it used to have some monster carp in there at one time.

I heard cook lake is one of the lakes that has tiger trout planted in it.
