Looking for some hard water advice in the Crystal Falls area.
I am From chicago and have been coming to the UP for over 30 years. My family had a place on Golden but had to sell a few years back. I am fairly familiar with ice fishing over near the Land o' lakes/Watersmeet area, but not all that familiar with the Crystal Falls area. I do know the lakes very well for open water. I have been coming to Fortune since i was in Diapers.
I am headed to the UP this weekend, staying on Fortune. I read in the DNR report that they are catching good Northern on fortune. I know that lake like the back of my hand. Just wondering where the hot spots are throught the ice.
also, any info on Emily, Mary or Peavy would be helpful.
