Goegebic Question

Is there decent fishing within walking distance on the lake or is it something I'm going to need the snowmobile. I'm thinking heading down for the day but not sure.

I don’t fish west shore when I go but there are a lot of people fishing very close to west shore. What or how many they are catching I don’t know. But enough of them there must be something. It does drop off pretty quick where they are so assuming mixed bag. From where creek/river runs in down to Gogebic lodge

You can walk out from the east shore launch and get on fish, if you have a sled might as well bring it! If I were walking out that's where I'd go.
