has anyone gone to copper harbor in the last few days, wondering what the ice is like

On that note is the DNR Marina area any good for ice fishing?

the marina area haas always been somewhat productive. if the ice is good and you can venture across to the far shore you will do better in the 5' - 8' depth range. all of the far shore all the way to porters island has always been great

mostly splake, but we have caught coho,steelhead, and an occasional walleye
