So i have been reading the Shanty posts for a while and finally decided to join. A lot of good information to read.
Fished Rifle Gap last weekend. Saturday was slow but on Sunday the fishing picked up. Got my largest perch to date, 13 inches.
Had to fish pretty deep though. Bite was really ligt, good luck without electronics.
Fishing Elkhead this weekend, going for the pike.
Was wondering if anybody has had much luck there on the hard water?
I fish there with the boat and do pretty good. I would think that the state record pike could quite possibly come out of there.
