Whats the closest place from Winnipeg Beach to fish for Lake Trout? Looking to mix it up with walleye fishing when we head up this weekend. Thanks for the help.

I was hoping someone could also tell me a lake close to Saskatchewan that I go to that had lakers.....hoping to make a trip in March to catch some of those beauties. I've heard that you need a sled for most of the lakes and we would only be traveling with a 4x4 truck as well. Thanks in advance.

I've only fished George Lake and Forbes Lake for Lakers in Manitoba, that would take you less than 2 hours to get there from the beach. You would want to take a sled of quad.
