Who’s been out there? I’ve never been thinking it’s a better option then the 3’ of snow at Chautauqua.
-
I was out there today. 10" of ice and no snow on top. 3 northerns, 2 largemouth and a ton of gills.

How about a wheeler on southend off launch?

just checked accesss to the ice, north end. the shore ice is melted all the way around the point, I got wet feet getting out on to the main ice to spud around. once I was out onto the thick ice it seemed fine but I didnt spud out very far, no telling how many holes have opened up from the past few days. Im not going out tmrw, be safe and good luck if any of you decide otherwise.
