Hawkins

I went out to Hawkins today, the ice right around the dock was only an inch or so, but about 20 feet to the right there was a spot where it looked like the wind had blown the ice up onto the shore. I checked the depth as I went out and close to the shore it was about 4 inches, but it increased to about 6 inches as I got further out. I only fished about 30 or so feet from the shore line and had a few bites on a white and pink jig tipped with rainbow power bait. I decided to pack it in because the wind was blowing pretty hard and I was hearing some weird sounding cracks from the ice.
