Two Way Radios on the Ice
« on: Dec 19, 2017, 12:36 PM »
Just curious if 2-Way Radios are used out on the ice to communicate between the fisherman, and if so what channel is used?

Thanks In Advance

We fish where signal can be spotty or none.  I carry a pair of these:

Motorola MS350R

Sometimes I leave one in the truck so a family member with a key can get in and call us.  So far I like the radios a lot.  They float!

There is no special ice fishing channel as far as I know, but we have a family channel and code that we use all the time.
Happiness is a wife who can outfish you.
