Tight lips

Made it out another day. Short season it seems but can't complain about getting family out for a day on the ice. Hot cocoa, lunch, and no video games. Last two days the fish have been tight to the bottom and haven't had much luck. Tried shallow to deep, multiple baits, and didn't catch enough for a fish fry. Can't complain much though. Taking a pto day tomorrow to try for that bluegill dinner before a long work week and warmer temps. Fish on and hope others have had better luck catching.

Glad you were able to get the crew outside for some fun.   That's what I've been hearing from lots of buddies, that the bite has been tough.  Guess I've been lucky.  I've been getting them everyday since last Tues.  Had to take the weekend off for grandparents duty but I'm back at it tomorrow.  We have had two meals already and I've given fish away to others so they could enjoy a meal.  Fish on
