Blue Mesa was good to me today.

Only Caught 5. 2 Rainbows and 3 Browns. All dead sticking using either a 2" White tube or a 4" white tube. Caught 3 on the Big tube. Nothing for bait just the tube and some trout sauce. Saw a lot of fish and had one big guy come up and slap my gig 2 times as I watched.

I found a secret place this time shhh.. No perch around. By the way I headed off the ice at 1:15 a 40 MPH wind came in. The wife stayed in the tent trying to keep it from blowing over her head while I got everything out and packed up. Started out with a little breeze then all of a sudden it hit and about knock her out of her chair.

The fish would not hit anything moving. They would chase but then leave.
