Title: Big lake
Post by: Brandonh on Dec 04, 2017, 10:10 AM
I’m thinking about trying out big lake for the first time and was wondering if anyone has any info on where a good place to start would be and possibly lure types to try. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks and tight lines!

I've done well with tube jigs and rattle traps.  If things are slow tie in a 000 herring dodger about 18" above your lure.  I agree with the 10 to 30 feet of water.  But again,  if you're not having much action try shallow up close to some of the islands.  I've caught char and rainbows out there in 2-3 feet of water.
