Took 10 hrs to catch 10 perch today. Couple nice ones, 12.75" was big. Nice and warm, little wind, saw the big star at sunset. A good day to be alive!

Pigs! Sounds like a long day, but can’t beat those conditions. Been tough to find those perch so far.

10 hours to catch fish and 8 hours of driving. Oh the retired life! Glad you guys caught some brutes!

Actually it only took 3 hrs each way. Closer than a lot of places I go to-

If you discount the fact that 7 of those 10 hours nobody caught anything, and all the fish were caught in 3 different hour peroids, It really only took 3 hours to catch 10 perch (and 7 hours of drilling holes and looking at blank screens).

It was a grindy morning, we left that day around 1 or 2 and came away with 6 total perch, biggest being the same as yours; 12.75"...Got into some nice rainbows too...I met Tim that morning, hopefully next time I meet you too Slayer!!

Yep, and I couldn't find the right flavor, but caught plenty of these. Just call me the "Smalleye" whisperer

Heres my 10 from yesterday, 11.5 down to 7.25". When you drive that far no perch goes back, Ill get a knife thru it! Tacos for christmas

If that first bobo you caught had been a perch you'da met slayer in prompt fashion. HOWDEEEE

Yeah once the "BARBARIANS" WITH THIER FREEKIN 10" GAS AUGERS AND DULL BLADES left, it was rather quiet and pleasant out!

I swear it took them guys 10 minutes to go thru 8" of ice! Brutal!

We didn't find the perch until about 45 minutes after that bow, found some nice ones but nothing consistent.

What's brutal is Ice on Front range is going away so I may need to head back there. I gotta have my perch hunting fix!

Good perch are always worth the drive imo!! I'm going to be taking my GF up there hopefully soon to get her Perch fix...fixed. I might head up another time and go for the evening/early night walleye bite.
